Community Events
Documenting the Pulse of Peoria
What to Expect: Community Events
Capturing a community event is about more than just showing who was there; it’s about preserving the energy, the mission, and the shared connection of the day. Here is how I work to ensure your event’s legacy is protected:
1. The Strategy Session
Before the event, we’ll have a brief consultation (via phone or email) to go over your "must-have" list. Whether it's key sponsors, guest speakers, or specific interactions that represent your mission, I arrive with a clear roadmap of what matters most to your organization.
2. Comprehensive Coverage
On the day of the event, I am a professional "fly on the wall." I move through the space with a documentary eye—capturing the big moments on stage, but also the quiet, candid interactions in the crowd that truly tell the story of your community. I focus on:
The Atmosphere: Decor, branding, and the "vibe" of the venue.
The Action: Keynotes, performances, and ceremonies.
The Connection: Guests engaging, laughing, and participating.
3. Professional & Self-Sufficient
You have enough to manage. I arrive early, coordinate with your event lead, and navigate the schedule independently. You won't need to guide me; I’ll be busy documenting the pulse of the room while you focus on hosting.
4. Fast-Turnaround Highlights
In the age of social media, I know timing is everything. Within 24–48 hours of the event, I provide a "Highlights" gallery of web-ready images so you can share the success of your event while the buzz is still high.
5. The Archive & The Heirloom
Once your full gallery is delivered, we can discuss the long-term preservation of the event. While the digital files are great for your website and social media, many organizations choose to create a Legacy Event Book—a high-end, physical archive that can be shown to donors, kept in your office, or gifted to key stakeholders.
